LPS II 1500/2500 - 1 kWh
Case study: 4Hoeje
“If two people are trimming hedges all day, we probably use 8 batteries”, says Bente, a landscape gardener who works for 4Hoeje in Denmark. They recharge all their batteries from a Lithium Power Supply (LPS) installed in their vehicle.

Previously, they bought a lot of Aspen petrol. Now they have an electric hedge trimmer, lawn mower, brush cutters, blower and leaf collector. How many batteries they use in a day depends on the job: between 2 and 8. 4Hoeje Landscape Gardeners has not run out of power since it installed the LPS in the vehicle. Before that, the team used an inverter and could only recharge while driving. That was often a problem.

The vehicle has 2 solar panels on the roof. They recharge the LPS when the sun is shining. Because the LPS has flexible charging, it can also be recharged from the vehicle if there is not enough sun. The vehicle’s alternator charges the LPS while driving. The powerful lithium battery in the LPS stores the power, so there is enough capacity to recharge the electric equipment all day, including when the vehicle is parked. Flexible charging lets you use the capacity of the LPS several times a day. The LPS menu shows how much the solar panels have contributed to the charging.

4Hoeje Landscape Gardeners has replaced its fuel-driven equipment with cordless electric equipment because it is less stressful for employees. The electric equipment has less vibration, and there are no exhaust fumes.

Even when the vehicle is turned off, the LPS still recharges and supplies your tools with power. You can use both 12V and 230V at the same time, and the LPS recharges rapidly from the vehicle while driving, from solar panels on the roof or from the grid. The display menu shows how much the solar panels have contributed to recharging the LPS.
